Our build process follows proven steps:
- We dig and compact a solid base trench.
- We bury roughly one-third of the wall height.
- We step each course back for a slight backward lean.
- We lock the base course level before stacking higher.
That backward step is called batter. It tilts the wall into the slope it holds. The soil pushes against a wall that’s already leaning back, not falling forward.
