DESIGNED FOR YOUR SPACE
Good design is the foundation of any La Quinta yard built to last. We draw full-property layouts around your home’s style and the brutal desert climate. Every plan weighs soil type, drainage and water-wise plant choices.
Skipping real design is where local yards fall apart. Homeowners pick plants that scorch by July and set pavers with no proper base. Then they pay a second time to fix it all.
See our custom landscape design work and how the process protects your money from day one.
From Boring to Stunning
A yard transformation is a full makeover of a tired, brown or unused outdoor space. We take gravelly, overgrown La Quinta lots and turn them into low-water, high-curb-appeal spaces that feel like a private resort.
DIY makeovers rarely survive here. The slope runs wrong. The base prep gets skipped. Plant spacing crowds up and browns out by the second summer.
We’ve reshaped yards near PGA West, Old Town La Quinta and the Santa Rosa foothills. Front yards, backyards, side yards, pool surrounds and HOA-controlled lots all get the same care.
Vision to Reality
Custom design built for La Quinta homes, lots and gated communities. Every layout follows the desert sun path, local soil and the water rules that govern this region. A pro plan beats trial and error and saves money over the life of the yard.
We handle modern, traditional, Mediterranean and full xeriscape looks. You get plant palettes that survive 110°+ summers, hardscape that rides out ground shift and lighting mapped before the wiring goes in.
The payoff is a yard that holds its value for 20 years, not 2.
Glow After Sundown
Outdoor lights that show off your yard at night and lift safety after dark. Pathway lights, accent uplighting, step lights and security-grade fixtures all work together as one system.
Desert glare, blowing sand and heat wreck cheap fixtures. Big-box solar lights rust, fade and quit inside a season. Pro-grade low-voltage systems, set with the right transformer and burial depth, last 10 to 15 years in La Quinta.
Curious how a pro plan changes a property after dark? See how a pro lighting plan works.
Hardscape gives your yard structure that plants alone cannot. We install stone, gravel, flagstone and retaining walls sized for desert soil.
Our base prep accounts for sandy, shifting ground. This keeps pavers level and walls standing through valley heat swings.
We rebuild your yard in zones, not all at once. This phased method lets you keep using parts of the space during the work.
Each zone is finished before the next begins. You see steady progress and never lose the whole yard at one time
Driveways, patios, walkways, slabs and pool decks poured for ground that shifts and bakes. We finish broom, stamped, stained and exposed-aggregate concrete. Each pour starts with proper sub-base prep, a rebar grid and a curing window matched to La Quinta heat.
Valley concrete fails for a short list of reasons: wrong mix, wrong cure, wrong joint spacing. A slab poured in July with no cure blanket cracks before the year is out.
Every job comes with a workmanship warranty and clean finish lines. See the concrete finishes we pour for local homes.
Tree pruning, palm skinning, full removals, stump grinding and seasonal care for the trees that define a La Quinta yard. We work on date palms, queen palms, Mexican fan palms, mesquite, palo verde, olive, citrus and every shade tree in between.
Valley tree work is its own trade. Our climate brings palm weevils, sooty canker and heat stress that outside crews never face. We know the local pests, the right pruning windows and how to skin a palm without scarring the trunk.
For pruning, removal or palm care, see our tree and palm care.
High-grade artificial turf made for La Quinta sun. The blades hold color under hard UV. The backing resists heat warp. The infill stays cool enough to walk on barefoot.
Cheap turf fails fast in the desert. The wrong infill turns a lawn into a hot pan. Thin backing splits at the seams. Low pile heights flatten and stay flat.
We supply and install pet-rated, putting-green-grade and play-area-rated turf. The correct grade, base prep and clean seam line are what separate turf that lasts from turf that gets torn out.

We plant species that thrive on desert rainfall alone. Good picks include agave, cacti, succulents, and native desert shrubs.
These plants handle full sun and sandy soil with ease. They give your yard color and shape without heavy watering.
Drip lines send water straight to the roots, not the air. Paired with timed controllers, they cut waste sharply in our dry climate.
The system runs on a schedule you set and forget. Your plants get exactly what they need, even in peak summer heat.

Benjamin, of Ultimate Pro Landscape did a great job laying cement. I appreciate his professionalism and the quality of his work. I look forward to his doing future projects for me.
Highly recommend this vendor. Benjamin is easy to work with. He has a terrific team. They work hard. They listen! They want to please the customer. Have used them for three projects and recommend them.
I really want to start by saying. This is the most professional landscaping company I have used. This is a family owned business and they go far and beyond to complete the project. The two projects I done with Ultimate pro Landscaping have been well planned and estimated. If you give this company a chance you will not regret it.
This is a family Landscape business and was the 1st to reach out after I requested help finding someone since we are not full time in California. Benjamin is the owner of the company and he was so good at presenting his stone product, and the job they did was simply amazing. Their quote was 25% less than others we tried. Not only a great NEW look to our yard but we were treated like family. Do yourselves a favor if you need stone or pea gravel work call Benjamin at Nunez Landscaping, I doubt you will not be disappointed. 5 ?
Yes, I recommend this pro $5,500 Benjamin and his team did a wonderful job with our front landscaping. They were able to complete the project in a short amount of time and made all the necessary changes to our sprinklers, planted pretty cactus and extended our driveway by 2 feet on both sides. They were dependable and we wonâ t think twice about calling them for future projects. THANK YOU again Benjamin.
Yes, I recommend this pro Our HOA hired Benjamin and team to repair our 1/2 mile fence. It required digging out old posts set in cement and replacing them. Replacing railings. It was a huge job. Not only did they complete the work on time, they were perfectionists. Where the posts surrounded trash cans, they measured to make sure each post was the same height. It required repairing irrigation if damaged in removing the posts--that wasn't in the bid. They did it on their own and then checked to see if the sprinklers were perfect. They were resourceful in finding water to make the cement. Benjamin has a "can do "attitude. They worked very long hours and cleaned up after the work was done. We've already decided to hire them for other work for the HOA. We highly recommend Ultimate Landscaping. We are lucky they were willing to come out to us in Marina del Rey. If you hire them, you will look around for more work to give them!
Yes, I recommend this pro $1,100,050 Ultimate Landscaping completely redid our front and backyard on time and on budget and it far exceeded our expectations. We ended up changing the design midway through the project (decided we did not want a rock river and opted for a walkway instead) and Benjamin did so cheerfully and without complaint. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the results and we highly recommend him.
Yes, I recommend this pro Love this family great work and very efficient

MEET
In La Quinta, a yard fights sun, wind and hardpan soil every single day. Most landscaping companies here pass the work to subcontractors and hope it holds. We don’t. As a family-owned contractor, we keep every job under one roof and one name.
Benjamin Reyes started Ultimate Pro Landscape in 2019 after leaving college to build something real with his father. Small referral jobs grew into a licensed operation trusted across La Quinta, Indio and Palm Desert. He treats each yard like a long-term relationship, never a quick sale.
Design is where we pull ahead. Other crews quote off a rough sketch and figure it out later. We hand you full renderings of the finished yard before a shovel touches the ground.
How We Work
From the first handshake to the final walkthrough, every step is handled with care and clear communication.

Most full landscape projects in La Quinta run between $5,000 and $40,000 depending on scope. Smaller jobs like tree trimming start around $350. Ground-up builds climb higher once concrete, irrigation and artificial turf are added.
We price every job by the project, not by the hour. That keeps the quote honest and blocks surprise charges at the end. Veterans and first responders get an automatic discount on every estimate.
A full-service landscaper handles every part of the outdoor build, not just mowing or planting. We take care of landscape construction, irrigation, hardscape, drainage, lighting and maintenance, all in-house.
That means no subcontractors, no scheduling gaps and one licensed contractor start to finish. We handle pavers, retaining walls, plant installation, artificial turf, fire pits and water features under one roof.
Yes. A professional build adds real property value and works with the desert instead of against it. La Quinta yards face intense heat, water limits and tough soil that DIY projects get wrong.
A licensed landscaper picks drought-tolerant plants and sets up water-efficient irrigation. They grade the yard to survive flash storms off the foothills. The result is a yard that looks sharp, costs less to maintain and holds up for years.
A realistic budget starts around $5,000 for basic builds and climbs past $40,000 for premium projects. We break it down like shopping for a car: Toyota, BMW or Mercedes packages. Pick the level that fits your yard.
Basic covers plants, rock and standard irrigation. Mid-range adds pavers, low-voltage lighting and artificial turf. Premium includes custom hardscape, water features, outdoor living spaces and fire pits.
